Tellus360

As a prime Downtown Lancaster destination, Tellus360 is known for their multi-level bar and event space. The rooftop is a highly desired summer hangout and was in need of a face lift. Due to the heavy amount of foot traffic on any given summer night, lawn areas quickly became a muddy maintenance nightmare. The existing irregular flagstone walkway and dining booths also needed to be addressed to promote proper drainage and reduce standing water.

We were able to remove all existing grass manually with the help of a trash chute from the rooftop to street level where it would be hauled out one truckload at a time. New flagstone and stone base needed to be carried to the rooftop because of the elevator only reaching the second floor. Upon completion of adding new flagstone to the dining booths and re-laying the existing walkway, we were able to focus on the preparations for the artificial turf area on the back half of the rooftop. With help from a local lumber delivery truck, we hoisted the turf rolls to the roof and began to install the turf. The project was a great challenge for the Terra crew and was finished in time for Summer 2022.
