Hillcrest

Tucked in the timeless School Lane Hills neighborhood of Lancaster City is our Hillcrest project. The homeowners were looking for repairs to an existing brick patio, the creation of additional patio areas and a solution for an uneven front walkway. We developed a concept for the rear yard to expand upon the brick patio with a patterned flagstone patio, new set of wide masonry steps – constructed of thermal bluestone treads and stucco columns and wing walls – connected to an irregular flagstone patio to create a separate “room” for a fire pit and Adirondack chairs. The existing front walkway was removed and a new concrete slab was poured to accept a mortared brick walkway.
